CBV is a growing cooperative of 12 active consultants that center the Akan Adinkra symbol, boa me na me mmoa wo, which means “Help me and let me help you.” It is a symbol of cooperation and interdependence.
On May 4, 2020, #CBVCEO Natasha Harrison found herself in the ICU. The love and prayers of the CBV Cooperative were special medicine that aided in her recovery.
What are you grateful for in 2020?
“..institutions commonly and unconsciously assume POC [People of Color] who are invited into the institution should not only be grateful but should also want to be like the white people who invited them.”
